Harriet L. Stanton's original embossed etching (Intaglio), "Fresia" is printed upon fine hand-made, laid paper and with full deckled margins as published in New York by John Szoke Graphics in the limited edition of fifty impressions in 1981. This impression is signed, "H. Stanton", dated, titled and numbered by the artist in pencil along the lower margin. "Fresia" is a fine, original example of the decorative floral art created by the 20th century American artist, Harriet Stanton.

Note: Harriet L. Stanton: An American painter and printmaker based in New York, Harriet Stanton began exhibiting her art in New York around the 1970s. The February 23, 1976 New York Siege of fort Apache magazine lists an exhibition of her drawings and prints by the Duhl Gallery located at 31 W. 54th, New York. Working in the field of painting, drawing, monoprinting and etching, she is best known for her fluid abstract botanical and landscape art created in pastel tones. She states "Forms in naturespeak to me of an ever-flowing pattern of growth, change the renewal." This original embossed etching printed in colours entitled, Fresia is a striking example of her botanical art published by John Szoke Graphics, New York in 1981. The artist, Harriet L. Stanton is listed as a member of the National Association of Women Artists, the Professional Artists Guild (pag), and the 2009 Museum of Arts and Design catalogue.
