Andres Segovia - Still Life with Shells

Still Life with Shells

Andres Segovia's original lithograph, Still Life with Shells, bears no date but belongs to an earlier part of his career. Beginning around 1970 Segovia turned increasingly away from his School of Paris style to explore highly defined surrealist imagery in both his original paintings and prints. This Impression is printed upon pure rag paper with the 'Rives' watermark and with full, deckled margins as printed between 1960 ns 1970 in an edition of one hundred impressions. It is signed and numbered in pencil by the artist along the lower margin. Still Life with Shells is a fine, original example of the lithographic art created by the Argentinean artist, Andres Segovia,
