Chorus Line

Chorus Line is an original silkscreen (serigraph) by the American painter, printmaker and illustrator Alton Raible. This impression of Chorus Line is printed upon thick wove paper as published in an edition of only thirty four impressions in 1956. It is signed, titled and numbered by Alton Raible in pencil.

Note: Alton Raible: An American painter, printmaker and illustrator, Alton Raible exhibited his art from around 1950 to 1980. During the 1970's he illustrated the books of Zilpha Keatley Snyder, which included such titles as The Headless Cupid, The Egypt Game and The Witches of Worm. The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco houses an example of Alton Raible's silkscreen art in its permanent collection.
Edition: Limited Edition of thirty-four impressions, Numbered (16/34) in pencil by the artist.
Size: 11 1/2 X 20 (Sizes in inches are approximate, height preceding width of plate-mark or image.)
  Matted with 100% Archival Materials
Condition: Printed upon thick wove paper and with full margins as printed in 1956. Signed, titled and numbered, '16/34', by the artist in pencil along the lower margin. Containing slight scuffing within the image else a strongly printed impression with full, unfaded colors and in good condition throughout. Chorus Line represents a fine, original example of the art of Alton Raible.
