Note: John Pearson: A contemporary painter, printmaker and sculptor, John Pearson studied art at the Royal Academy Schools, London (1960-63), the Akademie der Bildenden Kunst, Munich (1963-64), and at Northern Illinois University (MFA, 1964-66). He began his teaching career at the University of New Mexico, from 1966 to 1968. John Pearson then taught at the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design (1968-70) and served as the International Guest Artist at the Cleveland Institute of Art (1970-72). Since 1972, John Pearson has held the chair of the Department of Art at Oberlin College in Ohio. He became an American citizen in 1978.
  John Pearson’s first one man exhibition took place in London in 1963. Since that time his fine paintings and original prints have been the subject of solo exhibitions at The Arts Club of Chicago (1977), the Cleveland Museum of Art (1991), the National Museum of Fine Arts, Kiev, Ukraine (1995), the Museum of Modern Art, Rijeka, Croatia (1996), Cleveland Center for Contemporary Art (2000), and the City Museum of Fine Arts, Ljubljana, Slovenia (2001). Today such institutions as the Bochumer Museum, Stuttgart, Germany, the Museum of Modern Art, Rijeka, Croatia, Kunstverein, Hanover, Germany, Cleveland Museum of Art, Art Institute of Chicago, Pasadena Art Museum, Evans Carter Museum, Fort Worth, Los Angeles County Museum, the National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC, and the Museum of Modern Art, New York, include the art of John Pearson in their permanent collections.

Condition: Printed upon white, archival paper and with full margins as published on the above date. Signed, dated, titled and annotated, 'Proof', by the artist in pencil along the lower margin. A finely printed impression and in excellent condition throughout. "Screen Series #C10" represents a large and important original example of the contemporary art of John Pearson.
