George O'Connell's original lithograph, "Odalisque Cycle #2" is printed upon laid paper with full margins as published in the small edition of only ten impressions around 1970. It is signed and titled by George O'Connell in pencil and numbered, along the lower diameter margins. "Odalisque Cycle #2" combines colour lithography with a silkscreen circular border and is a fine original example of the captivating and seductive art created by the contemporary American artist, George O'Connell.

Note: George O'Connell: A contemporary American printmaker and painter, George O'Connell received degrees for his studies at the University of Wisconsin in 1950 and 1951. He then continued his art education at Ohio State University in 1952 and 1953. O'Connell was the recipient of the prestigious Fulbright Award which enabled him to conclude his studies at the Rijksakademie Van Beeldende Kunsten, in Amsterdam (1959-1960). The artist currently resides and works in Oswego, New York.
  For the past forty years the prints and paintings of George O'Connell have been included in major exhibitions both in the United States and abroad. Public collections that today house examples of George O'Connell's art include the Library of Congress, the Smithsonian Institution and the National Collection of fine Arts, Washington, DC, the New York Public Library, the Cleveland Museum of Art, the California Legion of Honor, San Francisco, the Philadelphia Museum of Fine Art, the Gemeente Museum Van Schone Kunsten, The Hague, Holland, the Pushkin Museum, Moscow and the British Museum, London.
  This original lithograph entitled, Odalisque Cycle #2 combines colour lithography with a silkscreen circular border. Printed in a very small edition of ten impressions it is a most captivating and seductive work of art by George O'Connell.

Condition: Printed upon laid paper with full margins as published around 1970. Signed and titled by the artist in pencil and numbered, '4/10', along the lower diameter margins. Very slight scuffing and inking marks exist in the outer margins, else a finely printed, full colour impression and in very good condition throughout. Odalisque Cycle #2 represents a superb example of the graphic art of George O'Connell.
