Lowell Blair Nesbitt first experimented with original printmaking
in the mid 1960's. His graphic work now includes slightly under one hundred
original prints; most in the medium of drypoint engraving. Shoes XII is
one of his largest and most impressive drypoints where the contrasts of
light and dark are fully explored. Most of Lowell Nesbitt's drypoints (including
this original example) exist in very small editions. |
