It is titled within the aquatint, to the lower left, and signed in pencil by her under the plate-mark."Paris. La Place de la Concorde" is a fine, original example of the French Landscape art created by the 20th century artist, Marie Jacqueline Marino.

Note: Marie Jacqueline Marino 'Marie Marino': A twentieth century Swiss artist, Marie Jacqueline Marino lived and exhibited her work in both Geneva and Paris. Apart from creating original etchings, drypoints aquatints and lithographs, Marie Marino also painted frescoes and designed tapestries. She was married to the artist, Jean Francois Liegme.
  An original aquatint, "Paris. La Place de la Concorde" is a fine example of Marie Marino's landscape art. Concentrating upon the tonal values of this famous landmark, Marie Marino has fashioned a delightful study of the effects of light and shade.

Size: 6 X 8 1/8 (Sizes in inches are approximate, height preceding width of plate-mark or image.)
Condition: Printed on hand-made, laid paper with the 'Rives' watermark and with full, deckled margins as published in Paris around the above date. Titled within the aquatint, to the lower left, and signed in pencil under the plate-mark. Containing a slight scratch within the image (in the sky between the fountain and column), else a strongly printed impression and in good condition throughout. Paris. La Place de la Concorde is a prime, original example of the twentieth century art of Marie Jacqueline Marino.
