The same year (1663) he etched this beautiful portrait of Charles Patin, a leading doctor of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Paris. Several years later Claude Lefebvre visited London. While there he was invited to paint at the court of King Charles II. The art of Claude Lefebvre is included in such major collections as the National Portrait Gallery, London, and the Louvre, Paris.
