Georges Lambert's original lithograph, "Harbor Scene, France" is an accomplished work of art created by the French artist around 1970. This impression of "Harbor Scene, France" is printed upon fine, hand-made laid paper with The Collector's Guild watermark and with full, deckled margins as published in New York in the limited edition of two hundred and seventy five impressions. It is signed and numbered in pencil by Georges Lambert along the lower margin.

Note: Georges Lambert: A twentieth century French painter and lithographer of landscapes, seascapes and figure studies, Georges Lambert received his education at the Academie de la Grande Chaumiere, Paris, where he studied primarily under Othon Friesz. During Lambert's career his art was exhibited internationally in countries such as Germany, Italy, France, England and the United States. Georges Lambert also contributed original lithographs to some artist's illustrated books such as, Machiavelli's, "The Prince" (1964).
  "Harbor Scene, France" is a fine example of Lambert's lithographic art. It was commissioned by The Collector's Guild Ltd. of New York and published by them in a sole limited edition of 275 signed impressions. During the 1960's and early 1970's The Collector's Guild commissioned and published a number of original lithographs and etchings by leading contemporary artists from around the world. During this period, their firm published at least three original graphic works of art by the French artist, Georges Lambert, such works include a harbour view with boats on the beach, a still life with flowers and this original lithograph.

Condition: Printed upon fine, hand-made laid paper with the 'CG' (Collector's Guild) watermark and with full, deckled margins as published in New York by The Collector's Guild Ltd. in the limited edition of 275 impressions. Signed and numbered, '64/275' in pencil by the artist along the lower margin. A delicately printed, full colour impression and in excellent condition throughout. Harbor Scene, France is a prime, original example of the art of Georges Lambert.
