An original color aquatint and soft ground etching, Park Walk (Central Park, New York with a View of the Manhattan Skyline) was created by the well known American illustrator and artist, Harvey W. Kidder, around 1975. During this time Harvey Kidder etched at least three large plates depicting New York City’s, Central Park. Besides Park Walk the other titles include Autumn Haze and Cityscape.

This impression of Kidder's "Park Walk" is printed upon pure rag paper with the 'Arches France' watermark and with full, deckled margins as published by John Szoke Graphics in New York around the date stated. It is pencil signed, titled and numbered, by the artist along the lower plate mark. "Park Walk" is a fine, original example of the New York landscape art created by the contemporary American artist, Harvey Kidder.

Note: Harvey Kidder: A twentieth century illustrator, painter and printmaker, Harvey Kidder studied under Lawrence Beal Smith and Arthur Lougee at the Child-Walker School of Design. He began his long and successful career as an illustrator for Houghton Mifflin in 1939. Since that time, Harvey Kidder's artwork has been commissioned for such national publications as "The Saturday Evening Post", "Argosy", "Golf Digest" and "Reader's Digest". Harvey Kidder has also been a participant in both the U.S. Air Force Art Program and the National Parks Service Art Program. He is a full member of the Society of Illustrators, New York.
  As an original printmaker, Harvey Kidder has produced lithographs, etchings and aquatints. Park Walk is one of at least three original aquatints and soft ground etchings he created with the subject matter being Manhattan’s, Central Park. Each of these works of art examines the park in full Autumn colors, set against the against the skyscrapers of New York in the background.
