Condition: Drawn on 15th century vellum and with full margins. Contains Gothic textura quadrata script in brown ink with several lines in red clay. With multiple two-line versal initials on both sides of the leaf alternating in blue tempra and red. These initials, with their elaborate calligraphy, are set within uniquely designed frameworks. Slight fading, as usual, to the brown ink on the verso side of the vellum, else this work of art is in superb condition throughout and is indicative of the Italian Renaissance illumination at its finest.
