Note:	Leopold Hofmann’s original soft ground etching, The Oxen Team, dates from the 1930’s decade. Taking ploughing as its theme, "The Oxen Team", admirably portrays the long and arduous life of a working farmer.
	The Oxen Team was printed in a very small edition. To the lower left, Leopold Hofmann has written (in German), "Original Etching, Fifteen impressions struck."

Condition:	Printed upon thick wove paper and with full margins as printed by Leopold Hofmann around 1930. Signed and annotated by the artist in pencil along the lower margin. Containing slight foxing within the outer margins, else a finely printed impression and in good condition throughout. "The Oxen Team" represents both a fine and scarce original example of the Austrian art of Leopold Hofmann.
