Nancy Hagin's original silkscreen, "Guest Room", is printed upon thick, pure rag paper and with large, full margins as published in the small edition of only thirty impressions in New York in 1987. It is an artist proof impression, signed, dated and numbered, 'A.P. 23/30' by the artist in pencil along the lower margin. This silk-screen also bears both the publisher's and printer's blindstamps to the lower left corner. "Guest Room" ranks as one of her finest works of printmaking art. Nancy Hagin has now assumed her place as one of the American leading Realist artists.

Note: Nancy Hagin: A major contemporary American printmaker and painter, Nancy Hagin received her education from Carnegie-Mellon University (BFA, 1962) and Yale University (MFA, 1964). Since that time she has taught art at such institutions as the Pratt Institute, New York (1973, 1974 & 1985), Fashion Institute of Technology, New York (1974 - present), Cooper Union, New York (1982-1992), and University of the Arts, Philadelphia (1999). During her career Hagin has received such awards as the Fulbright Grant, Rome (1966-67), Purchase Award, Butler Institute of Technology (1977), the National Endowment for the Arts Grant (1982 & 1991) and the Emil and Dines Carlsen Award: National Academy of Design (1982). In 1992, Nancy Hagin was elected a full Academician of the National Academy of Design, New York.
  Nancy Hagin's first solo exhibition took place in Boston in 1972. Since that time her art has been the subject of numerous shows, particularly in Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Baltimore. Her art has also been selected for group exhibitions in Washington, San Antonio, San Francisco, Chicago, Atlanta, Tulsa and elsewhere. Her prints, watercolors and paintings are now included in such major collections as the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park, Lincoln, MA, Fashion Institute of Technology, New York, The Utah Museum of Fine Arts, Delaware Art Museum, National Academy of Design, New York, AT & T, Chase Manhattan Bank, Metropolitan Life and General Electric Corporation.
  Nancy Hagin has now assumed her place as one of America's leading Realist artists. With its brilliant use of reflected forms, colors and patterns "Guest Room" ranks as one of her finest works of printmaking art.
