In 1958, Herbert Lewis Fink graduated from Yale University with a Masters of Fine Arts and for the following three years taught art classes at both Yale and at the Rhode Island School of Design. Herbert Fink was made Professor of Art and Chairman of the Art Department at Southern Illinois University in 1961.
