Note: Susan Elias: A contemporary American artist, Susan Elias studied at the Philadelphia College of Art (BFA, 1963) and at Columbia University (MFA, 1964). Since 1977 her original prints, paintings and sculptures have been the subject of solo exhibitions in New York, Brooklyn, Santa Monica, Los Angeles, London, England and Berlin, Germany.
  During her career, Susan Elias has received such awards and fellowships as The Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation Award (1964), the Fellowship, Cite Internationale des Artes, Paris, France (1972), the Pollock Krasner Foundation Grant (1996), and Visiting Artist, American Academy of Rome, Italy (2005-2007). The fine art of Susan Elias is included in the permanent collection of the National Museum of Women Artists.
  During the period Susan Elias was commissioned for at least four original lithographs by this publisher. They all bear the blindstamp of the Transworld Art publisher in the lower left corner.

Condition: Printed upon archival, laid paper and with full, deckled margins as published in New York in 1979. Signed, dated and numbered, '68/125', by the artist in pencil along the lower margin. Containing very slight scuffing in the outer margins else a finely printed impression with full, unfaded colors and in very good condition throughout. This original lithograph stands as a fine example of the art of Susan Elias.
