Cataldo "Fishermen" is an original linocut created by the Oceanic artist between 1950 and 1960. It depicts two men out at sea in their fishing boat in the process of catching a swordfish. This impression is printed upon rice (mulberry) paper and containing full margins. It is signed by the artist with the artist's "V" monogramme in the upper left corner. "Fishermen" is a fine, original example of twentieth century Native Sourth Pacific Island art.

Condition: Printed upon rice (mulberry) paper and containing full margins. Signed by the artist with his monogramme in the upper left corner. It is a finely hand-printed impression and in very good condition throughout. This original linocut represents a striking example of twentieth century Native Pacific art.
